First Cadaster workshop was organized in Maribor, Slovenia, as a part of CMPTI conference (http://cmtpi-2011.si) and took place from September 1st to 2nd 2011. Workshop aims were to assist the risk assessors and national chemicals authorities, particular in Eastern European countries, with the use of the QSAR tools for the risks assessments in REACH.

The new European Toxicology Risk Assessment Training Programme –TRISK is now open for application.
The objective of the training programme is to provide a comprehensive training in toxicological risk assessment that serves as a model for future European training in risk assessment for accredited European risk assessors.
The training programme is intended for individuals who have previous training or experience in toxicology and who would like to pursue a career in risk assessment in Europe in industry, regulatory authorities, consultancy or academia.

In coorporation with ICANN'09: International Conference on Artificial Neural Networks, European Neural Network Society (ENNS) we established a challenge on www.CADASTER.eu
The Goal of this challenge is, to develop in silico models to predict environmental toxicity of molecules against T. pyriformis and to stimate the accuracy of prediction of new compounds on the provided data.
The winner of the challenge is rewarded with 1.000 €
